Sarah Hanauer practices in the areas of business planning and transactions, estate planning and administration, and federal and state taxation.

Sarah joined Elkins, PLC, in 2013. Prior to joining Elkins, PLC, she attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where she was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honorary, Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honorary, the Dean’s List, and recipient of the Reid & Cynthia Bingham Award for the senior scholar of distinction in Political Science. At Loyola University College of Law, she participated in the Pro Bono Low Income Tax Clinic and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Sarah additionally received her LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pennsylvania. While obtaining her LL.M. in Taxation, Sarah practiced with a transactional law firm in Media, Pennsylvania. She joined Elkins, PLC in 2013.

She continues to volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program at Loyola.
