Pamela Hammond represents both owners and investors in commercial real estate developments with respect to federal tax incentives for Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, real estate syndication financing and refinancing, bond financing and Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges. She also represents both purchasers and sellers in both the stock and asset acquisitions and sales of commercial establishments and manufacturers.

Pamela joined Elkins, PLC in 1993. Prior to joining Elkins, PLC, Pam served as a working partner in the development of multi-family housing, and was instrumental in the application for and chartering of over forty-five de novo financial institutions throughout the southern United States. She has also served as an expert witness for the Federal Home Loan Board of Dallas, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Comptroller of the Currency’s Office, and the Office of Financial Institutions of the State of Louisiana.
