Morgan A. Gonzales

Morgan’s practice primarily consists of litigation. He represents corporate and individual clients in a diverse variety of disputes, and regularly advises clients on commercial transactions, contracts, and general business and corporate matters.

Prior to joining Elkins, Morgan practiced extensively in the areas of maritime and commercial litigation. Morgan has extensive experience handling lawsuits in federal and state courts, including motion and discovery practice, oral argument, and dispute resolution. He has represented clients in Louisiana state and federal courts, the Office of Administrative Law Judges, and in arbitration, and he has successfully argued in front of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2023, Morgan became a member of LSU’s Biological Engineering Advisory Council Board, advising the Department on issues of enrollment, finance, and other initiatives.

Morgan joined Elkins in 2014.
